With Sam getting so big, and another baby on the way, we decided to make a bunk bed for the boys. Jacob was big enough to be on top and Sam would soon be transferring to larger bed. So after looking on line and finding lots of different tutorials. I decided to take their advise and then just build our own how we wanted it. Keep in mind I was pregnant, and the Ohio humidity, it toke me several months to finish, plus JJ had to help me put it together because I was 7 months pregnant at that point. We are super happy with how it turned out and the boys love it!! Which makes it all worth while!
Also, an advent calendar I made for my Mom., and our pumpkin for trunk or treating (the mouth is open for the bowl of candy)!

Recent projects
So I have been crazy busy with the holidays, my wonderful boys, and feeling extremely crafty. I absolutely love to work with wood, and to sew. So here are some things that I have done recently...quilts, holiday signs, center pieces for my church Christmas party, center piece for my table, snowman, tree for the "25 days of Christ", vinyl nativity on battery candles (vinyl from Say it on the Wall), wood pallet pumpkins, diaper pouches, and a sign for my room (all it needs is the right phrase for it). This has all been done in the last 6 months. I love to craft!

too long, so much
Well it has been way too long and so much has happened. We will start youngest to oldest...Samuel is getting so big, he is scooting around everywhere. I think before we know it he will be crawling. He has just started to eat baby food and is loving it. Samuel is a just a little piggy, always wanting to eat!!! We love him so much and he is always so happy, except when he is hungry. He is such a little ham. Pictures later.
Jacob is still full of more energy then I can handle most of the time. He is officially potty trained. He still has an accident probably once a week, and now we are working harder on night time. I still have to ask him to put his underwear back on, because I think that he would rather stay natural. Jacob is such a good older brother. He loves to play with Sam, and to help me take care of him. Some things that Jacob loves are Puzzles (that hasn't changed, he just likes harder ones now), he likes to be a pirate, he loves slides, and rescue heroes.
I am doing good. We are so excited...we are buying a home. Right now we are just waiting for the inspection and all the paperwork to keep the ball rolling. If we have it our way we will be in our home by the end of April. We absolutely love the layout of the house and it is in such good condition. We are totally in love with the backyard. I cant wait to plant a garden, and to be out there with the boys. Pictures soon. we will make sure to have before and after pictures. I am just not looking forward to all the packing. I've already started but with 2 little boys it is a slow process.
JJ is doing really great. He is almost done with medical school. He only has a few weeks left of rotations. He MATCHED for residency. JJ will be doing Orthopedic surgery at Doctor's Hospital in Columbus Ohio. So we aren't going anywhere. It also has made it really easy to find a home since we are already here. JJ is such a great Daddy, the boys cant wait for him to come home and play. We love him so much!!!!

Halloween!!!
Well we had our Doctor (just like Daddy)!!! and our last minute pumpkin. So Samuel was actually going to be Jacob's patient (wearing a skeleton sleeper that Jacob wore his first Halloween), but the sleeper was WAY to big for Samuel, and I didn't realize this until it was an hour before we needed to leave for the Halloween party. OOPS! So with the Jack-o-lantern hat, orange shirt (stuffed with a burp rag to round him out a bit), and brown pants we had ourselves a pumpkin!!!!
Catch up-Big News!!!
So here is our sweet little Samuel!!!! We love him so much. Jacob is adapting really well. He loves to hold him, and to be a big helper. Jacob almost never calls him Samuel, instead I think he prefers to call him "Jacob's baby brother."
Samuel was 7 pounds 8 oz, and 19 inches long, born on October 11th.
Proud Daddy
